His work represents Symbolic Surrealism with dreamlike and real elements that envelop the viewer. It also represents the profane and the sacred, the ephemeral and the eternal, the lost and the discovered. He explores the shared energy between individuals, the aura, and emotional repercussions. He also examines human connection, exploring the emotional resonance between beings, shared energy, and the invisible dimension of encounter. Each work conveys gratitude, ecstasy, nostalgia, or introspection through its color palette and composition.

Julio Garay Born: Lima, August 5, 1962 Theme: Urban landscapes and dreamscapes Movement: Realism and classical surrealism Medium: Oil on canvas Size: 82 x 55 X 34 inches Emotion: Silence, contemplation, touch, and emotional texture His works invite a reflective pause. There is an atmosphere of contemplation, as if each stroke were a meditation on time, memory, or identity. Garay, a printmaker and graduate of the PUPC (Pontifical Catholic University of Peru), works with techniques such as woodcut, embossing, and intaglio, which create surfaces rich in texture. These appeal not only to the visual but also to the tactile, evoking emotions linked to the body and contact. His exhibition "Works on Paper" at Monumental Callao reinforces his commitment to the medium as an emotiona...

Born: Lima, July 24, 1959 Theme: Abstract Movement: Abstract Expressionist, Action Painting Medium: Installation, acrylic on canvas, altered sofa, table, vase, flower Size: 200 x 180 x 80 cm Emotion: Movement and energy He is a representative of “abstract expressionism” and “action painting,” with an exceptional command of visual language. He also pays profound homage to the human figure. He has 40 years of artistic activity and has exhibited in many countries. Color and its rapid forms are the foundation of his art. His work is characterized by intense brushstrokes, vibrant colors, and compositions rich in texture and dripping paint. The superimposed textures and thick lines convey an emotional charge that reveals the subject's inner struggles. In works like The Funeral or Flesh and Passion, the great themes of the human condition emerge, permeated by drama, tension, and a melancholy that sometimes borders on sadness. In his work, each color embodies an intention: red burns with a...
